My football / soccer history
1994

i watch since 1994 as a 10 year old kid my dad one day on the TV and it happen to be showing the Malaysia Cup so like i was having dinner and i ran in front of the TV and started off i don't know what is football and when i begin to watch the game i though why 22 men chase after a ball then i realize that we call it football and that time is state vs state and Singapore is playing as a country so that was the magical year Singapore won the Malaysia Cup double

1995

the following year i was very sad when Singapore pulled out of Malaysia Cup and every time when before the game there is some snapshots of V Selvaraj and the music would sound like ra ra ra ra ra ra ra ra ra ra ra ra and i would sing along and i remember watching every single game that features Singapore

1996

and 1996 was the year the SLEAGUE started and the first team i support was Geylang United why because of golden boy FANDI AHMAD. So i started supporting the SLEAGUE and then i continued supporting the team i support won and Sandro Radum was the keeper

we hosted the first ever Tiger Cup.

1997

was a year full of ups and downs i continued supporting Geylang while Fandi left for SAFFC and that was the time the soccer started and i was like getting more interested in the Lions.

1998

we won the Tiger Cup under the charge of Barry Whitbread. The moment was magical watch the game on TV and yes men R. Sasikumar headed the ball in with the blade of his shoulder and yes we won 1-0 against host country Vietnam.

1999

it's a year full of up's and down's and after this year the SEA Games is going to change into Under 23 format.

2000

it's a year which i first watch my first ever game at the Grand Old Lady the National Stadium and i remember asking my Brother to purchase the ticket for me and the game was against Malaysia and we lost 4-0 and i was still cheering on the Lions despite 4-0 down

2001

SEA Games and it's time to support the Lions again. Jan Poulsen quit as technical director. I started supporting Home United. Cheerleading

2002

was like near a century of watching the lions play

2003

SEA Games we never win anything. Young Lions joined the Sleague

2004

we won the Tiger Cup. support the Young Lions

2005

SEA Games we won nothing. My first young lions season as a member.

2006

was like being called up to be a sub committee of the Young Lions and become a normal member of the Lions. Young Lions knock out in the FA Cup

2007

we won the AFC Cup, and we won bronze in SEA Games.

2008

this is the Year we make history we make it to the World Cup
